Four Day Retreat – Springfield, NH

February 6, 2014 @ 4:00 pm - February 9, 2014 @ 3:00 pm

Tending the Hearth:
Nourishing Ourselves Inwardly in the Winter Season

Winter in New England is a time when the life of the forest and hills are quietly renewing themselves in preparation for the coming Spring. This winter we will gather to do the same, taking time to let go of busyness, to be still and reflect deeply on our lives, to enjoy the warmth of the hearth and the presence of each other, to renew our aspirations, and to draw strength from Dharma teachings and the Sangha gathered around. The program will include sitting and walking meditations, dharma teachings and discussions, mindful meals, and the quiet beauty of New England winter. We will also have the opportunity to take the Five Mindfulness Trainings, or to renew our commitment to these core principles of the Plum Village Tradition. Held at Wonderwell Mountain Refuge in picturesque Springfield, NH, the setting and facility are extremely nurturing and supportive.

Hosted by the Heart of the Valley MPC, MorningSun Community, Mountains and Rivers Mindfulness Community, and Peaceful Path Sangha, the retreat will be facilitated by Dharma Teachers in the Order of Interbeing Richard Brady and Michael Ciborski.
